Celia Orr, Director, Spay Neuter Programs
February 5, 2010
We regretfully announce that Celia Orr as Director, Spay Neuter Programs for KittiCo Cat Rescue, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization headquartered in Dallas, Texas, will no longer be employed by KittiCo. Ms. Orr has worked diligently helping cats across North Central Texas for almost three years with KittiCo. We thank her for her unflagging efforts to trap, transport and sterilize untold numbers of feral and stray cats, many of whom belong to elderly, disabled, and low-income people in our area. She has made an important difference in the lives of many needy animals in low-income areas, personally sacrificing much of her time to do this.
We thank her for all that she has done. We hope you will join us in wishing her well in her future endeavors, which include spending more time with her family and her business. We have invited her to continue to bring cats that she traps and cats for the indigent to our Clinic.
Thank you for your support of KittiCo, of the people who work with KittiCo, and, most important, for your support of the animals who need sterilization but often have no other access to qualified veterinary care for spay neuter.
People have brought cats to the KittiCo Low Cost Spay Neuter Clinic from over 165 cities and over 23 counties, primarily in North Central and Central Texas. Most of our sterilizations are provided for people in the Dallas Fort Worth Metropolitan Area.
We are always looking for volunteers who love animals, and especially those who can help with the trapping and transportation of feral and stray cats. There are hundreds of thousands of free-roaming cats in our part of Texas, too few veterinarians to help, and volunteers are always greatly needed.
Thank you!
Angie
