KittiCo TRAPS CAN NOT BE USED TO Set The Trap:
Bait The Trap:
TRAPS SHOULD NOT BE LEFT UNATTENDED. YOU MAY LEAVE THE AREA, SO THE CATS WILL GO INTO THE TRAPS, BUT PLEASE CHECK THE TRAP EVERY 30 MINUTES. (In the past, unattended traps have been picked up by Animal Control, and the cats in them have been euthanized!!!) After the Cat is caught, he/she will be very upset. Cover the trap with a towel to calm the cat. NEVER let the cat out, and transfer him to a carrier. Transport the cat in the trap to designated location for the sterilization procedure. Keep the towel over the trap to help keep him/her calm. On a hot night please keep the cat as cool as possible, on a cold night please keep the cat as warm as possible, and out of bad weather elements. Releasing The Cat: Release the cat the SAME day it is picked up. Release the cat in the SAME LOCATION you trapped it. Slowly turn the trap over on its top, and the trap door will fall open. Gently tip the rear of the cage. The cat will then be able to escape the trap. Returning The Trap(s): Return the trap(s) within 2 WEEKS (unless discussed otherwise) to the same address you picked up the trap(s). Your Deposit check will be torn up when your trap(s) are returned, please make sure your name is still on the trap(s). If the trap(s) are not returned within 2 weeks (unless discussed otherwise) your check will be cashed and the money will be used to purchase new trap(s). ALL TRAPS MUST BE RETURNED CLEAN (SPRAY WITH BLEACH AND WATER) Thank you for taking a proactive approach in spaying and neutering. Please help us to collaborate and raise awareness of pet overpopulation and the importance of spaying and neutering by passing along this information to others. Without you our successes would not be possible.
Thank you,
